The Downtown Milford Business Association took over the Market several years ago.
Many of you will remember Greg Ferro who was Market Master for 3 years. He did a wonderful job running the market and helped move it to its new location at Wasson Field. Greg gave notice that he was moving two years ago and we were so sad to see him leave Milford and the Market.
We wished him well in his new adventures and he promised to visit when he's in the area.
Some endings create New Beginnings and we were delighted to have found MaryJo Downs our current Downtown Milford Farmers Market Master. MaryJo took over last year from Greg and has done a wonderful job. She has embarked on her second season and has been working to round out the market, adding in new vendors each week.
MaryJo also runs the Walnut Beach Farmers Market on Thursday evenings for the Walnut Beach Association.
Milford is so lucky to have people who are dedicated to making their community better.
