What Will Kids Find at the Market?

Can you find something red? How about something round? Maybe something squishy? At Kids’ Market this Saturday, a scavenger hunt will have kids searching for answers! Their hunts will be rewarded with tokens that they can exchange for fruits and veggies at any farmers’ tent.

This Saturday’s market will be jam packed with so many free fun activities for little ones. Kids can do a little gardening at the veggie dig. They can snap a few pics at the veggie photo wall. They can even go mini golfing alongside this silly zebra! A huge thanks to Yvonne at Duck Duck Goose for creating, and Metro Star Apartments for sponsoring, Kids' Market!

As kids run about the market they’ll find so many early season favorites. Strawberries, leafy greens, asparagus, kohlrabi, scallions, mushrooms...these are just a few of the offerings to be discovered! Parents, we'll find coffee. Lots of coffee. Scratch Baking will serve it up alongside their delicious muffins, scones, cookies, and breads.

In total we expect 15 tents in the sunshine of summer...can a Saturday get any sweeter?

Lastly, a confession: I forgot to bring my knives to the market last week! Fortunately, Harper Keehn will be sharpening at our market again this Saturday. We won’t see him again until the fall, so this is our last chance to sharpen up for summer. Remember: Grab your knives when you grab your farmers market bags. Knives. Bags. Knives. Bags. We got this Milford!
